At Morpeth Cricket, Hockey and Tennis Club, we understand that your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life. Set in the beautiful grounds of Longhirst Hall, just outside the historic market town of Morpeth, our Club offers the opportunity to create a bespoke day, unique to you. Whether you are envisioning a classic, elegant reception, a rustic outdoor celebration, or something a little different, our venue offers the flexibility to bring your vision to life.

Flexible and bespoke packages

For smaller weddings, we can comfortably accommodate 60 guests (more for the evening reception). The space is yours to transform as you wish to suit your theme and vision for the day. Don’t worry about needing to source round tables, tablecloths and chairs as these are all on site and can be hired from us at a very reasonable cost.

For larger or outdoor celebrations, our wonderful grounds lend themselves very well to housing a marquee (of any size really!), which can host 100+ guests. The setting provides a stunning backdrop for photographs and the expansive space is ideal for little ones to run off some steam during the course of the day.

Culinary Delights

We offer really flexible catering options. Our Clubhouse houses a fully professional kitchen ready to accommodate outside caterers. Whether you opt for a sit-down dinner, a buffet, or a more casual set-up such as using a street food vendor, our team can work with you to create a menu that reflects your tastes and theme. We have strong links with local caterers and street food vendors so just let us know if you are looking for any recommendations.

The Club is ideally located, being only 3 miles from Morpeth Train Station and only 20 miles from Newcastle Airport.
